Corrections

Every correction we have ever run, in one place, in the order we ran it. A correction appears here and in a marked box on the piece itself. Nothing is removed from this page.

How to report an error

Write to editor@theseventhfloor.press with the piece, the sentence, and the document that shows it is wrong. We answer every one. If you are right, the correction runs within a week and your report is acknowledged here unless you ask otherwise.

What counts

A correction fixes an error of fact. An update adds something that happened after publication and changes nothing that was true when it ran. Updates are marked on the piece and do not appear on this ledger. Typos are fixed silently and are not corrections.
